Default unleaded racing fuel

anyone here use ms109?
I was thinking of using it on my 13.7:1 LT1 motor it that wise?
It was tuned on 110 unleaded but it was getting false readings on the O2`s due to how close the end of the dumps are to the collectors(about 5 inches)
and the plugs are reading really rich
I was thinking if I try the ms109 it might lean it out enough to pick up m lost power or some of it anyway.
how will I know if it is running lean will I hear a ping or should I wait till after a run to check the plugs?
car it track only

thanks

Why not put some collector extensions on? You might even see some HP gains.

well one of the classes I run it requires a muffler so I put these so called mufflers on just to be legal for the class and I welded them to the collectors

this is the one I used

Well, my car and others that are tuned at Speed Inc are tuned in open loop so the 02's are turned off allowing the use of many different gases...maybe look into that if your having issues. Sounds like you made some changes and need to have the tune touched up a little.

Being that short of a muffler I would experiment with some different lenght extensions after the mufflers, to see if it helps. But that's just me. I just ordered some bullets yesterday and went with the 18'' over the 12''. I will play around at the track with some different lenghts of pipe after the collector with no mufflers just to see what works.
