Default Front swaybar!!!!!

ok guys on my good ole lt1 formula. i was thinking bout removing the front sway bar. what are the benifits for drag racing???? i know it shaves some weight, and i hear it transfers the weight a little better to the rear for traction. i still drive my car on the street but im not worried bout taking corners. i mainly go in a straight line. so would it be ok to take it off and drive around and stuff like that???? i think thats all i needed to know. im just curious so any help would be greatly appreciated

It won't corner as flat as it does now. It'll have a little more body roll. Not enough to be dangerous though. If you're drag racing, yank it off.

You could just disconnect the end links when you go to the track to see if you feel it is worth the trade off of street driving. Then it is just a matter of reconnecting them if you don't like it or remove it all together if you want.

I've taken it off, it does roll a little more, dont expect to be banking corners @ 120mph, but as far racing it is weight off the nose and the ability to transfer weight as well makes a huge diff.

I have had mine off for over 3 years now and I drive mine on the street all the time, you just have to get used to it. it takes about 30 pounds off the front nose if I remember correctly. could be more or less, but it is weight off the front which is good for racing.
