Default How to tell when DRs done?

Im new to drag racing, and have my first set of drag radials. Seeing as they have pretty much no tread to them, how do I know when they're no good anymore? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, they just look like they're worn out already, and I've only had them a couple months.

what kind of radial do you have ? mickey's and hoosiers go the quickest with nittos lasting the longest but the least amount of traction

They are finished when your 60 foots fall off or when the cords are showing.

They're BFG's

60' hasnt changed, but one of the other racers told me to get rid of them because none of the tread was visable anymore. They still have two small grooves down the middle. They're off the car now though, and currently sitting in my kitchen. lol

My Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials hooked great all the way till the cords were showing. So I'd say run 'em till they either don't hook anymore or until the cords show.

another vote on running them until the 60 foots start to slow or you see cords.
