Default Will a 28x12.50 15 ET street fit?

Like the title says, I need to know if a 28 12.50 15 et street will fit my car. Stock length 9", no mini tubs, just a lot of BFH mod. I'm going from a 26x10.50 15 et street to a 28" tire. I can get a really good deal locally on a set of the 28 12.50's. Just need to know if they will fit. Thanks in advance.

Yes, with lots and lots of beating, then when you are done, beat some more...

I have 28x 13.50 -15 hoosier qtp's fairly well tucked, just the bulge is in line with the upper 1/4 panel. I also have a narrowed rear with a crazy offset so bets to make sure you get your backspacing right first.

I had to beat them in 4 times though, I pummeled it, they rubbed, so on and so fourth..

I wouldn't put them on unless you're getting them for free. You'd be better off with a 28x10.5S et drag all day long and those fit with very little work.

I didn't think it was possible but maybe with lots of BFH mod.

Im pretty sure they are the same size, regardless.....

Get the S tire. That is the stiffer sidewall, and they work really good.

I think the part # is 3055S from m/t. Don't quote me but I'm 90% sure that's it.

A 28x12.50 et street is the same tread width as a 28x10.50 et drag. Et streets are measured by section width. I had 28x12.50 et streets on a 10" wheel. No buldge and I measured the tread width and it was right around 10". So if a 28x10.50 et drag fits and 28x12.50 et street will fit. And in case you guys dont believe me, here is the specs from jegs website.

http://www.jegs.com/i/Mickey+Thompso...3755/10002/-1#

Click more details, it has the specs of the tires.

I've got 28x12.50 et streets on a 10" rim on my car. Rolled outer fenders, lots of beating on the inners and adjusting the lca's.

I have never ran tubes on et streets. I run them when I had my s10 with 31x13.50 et drags, it was fast though.

As mentioned, they fit with a little work. BFH/rolled lips/trimmed bumper cover on the old car with 28x12.50-15 ET Streets, on 15x10x7.5" BS Bogarts with NO spacer on the inside of wheel as provided by Bogart(I had them built w/out the 3/4" spacer).

Wheel tucked real nice, no scrubbing inside or out on the street or at the top end..... ever. Looks real tight(had 3/4" outside tread to body clearance). More toward the inboard side of tread/sidewall), but worked for me. Your results may vary.

Ride height adj. coil overs/adjust PH bar/adj. LCA's are a must IMO.

Thanks for the responses guys. I picked up the et streets basically brand new for $150 this morning. Tires are being mounted on the bogarts right now. And tonight I'll mount the wheels on the car.

Mounted the tires last night. They seemed to fit fine.
