Default help 126.67 mph running a 12.7

Having problems getting this thing out of the hole with it being a m6. I am running 305/35/18 nitto dr's. anyone have any suggestions on what I should set the front double adjustable qa1's at with the 325# springs? Right now they are set at 12r and 12c. The rest of the car has full spohn suspenion parts and slp sub-frames even. The car is a full wieght ws6 with a iron block that puts down 434rwhp n/a and 551rwhp on spray. Loking for idea's what other people are running in the 60 foot with dr's. It was pulling 2.160- 2.560 60's all night. The thing about it was it spun at 4000 one run with the 2.160. And boged the next time at 4000 with a 2.560

You need to get some real tires under that thing. That much power on an M6 and those tires is next to impossible to hook.

I have seen cars pull 1.7-1.9 with dr's with less suspenion and and more power. They hook great on the street. I use to spin tires of idle rolling in to it on 295/35/18 and pull 2.0-2.2 on motor. That was before the all the front suspenion. I am able to hit the spray in second and have it hold the power.

I have had the m/t 26/11.5/16's before on the car last year and they were greast at the track. On the steet they sucked. Lunched off the 6500 rev limiter and pulled 1.7xx 60' foots all day. Street nothing past 2000 and they spun. I have seen nitto's on a stock t/a pull 1.9xx lunching at 5500 and those were the 245/55/16. The m/t's I know have the softer sidewalls and that is the only reason I Do not like them for a dailly driver.

getting a 6 speed to hook is harder than most think
lca angle, pinion(driveline)angle, instant center and shocks all have to work together

I am hoping some that has some da qa1's would give me an idea were to start with the adjustment settings, or someone to get intouch with. The dr's hook good when you get use to them. The bad part is the track that I go to is never the same when I go out. There have been times street tires hook hard and almost stalled my car at 1500rpms and others 1000 would just spin.

It was fun going out on the m/t before and launching off the rev at 6500. Now that I look back that was to much tire at the time but it always hooked.

My main goal is to hit 135 in the 1/4 the I drive it to work and the track.

You need a REAL TIRE.

A nitto is at best a street tire for car making less then 450 rwhp.

Buy a set of drag rims, and a tire with side wall.

I know I am tring to get it to work the way I daily drive it dailly. How are these tires a street tire if they hooked and casued the car to bog and pull a 2.5xx sixty on a 4000 clutch dump.

By the way who makes drag rims that clear c6z06 brakes? What size tires do they run? If I can get it to pull 1.8's with these tires I will be more then happy.

I could of swear you owned a supra when i looked at the title...

As all others said get a better tire... you might need to get a 28 inch tire.

I know that its goin to be hard to do it on dr's. Out of all the tires I have ran the nito's have done the best on the street and strip by far. Like I said BFG's are a waste of money. They have never hooked and last about 7 weeks. The mickey thomsons I ran were the e/t's that didn't hook on the street.

I am going to try it one more time when I get a chance before I get some rear qa1's. The rear of the car has lowering springs in it. Driving the car more with the new front setup I am noticing that the rear is soft. I think that it is traveling to much.
