Default video inside. help my take off please!!!

This is the first time I have ever drag raced and my stupid self kept burning out in the water instead of rolling past the water, then burning out. Anyhow my car is getting anywhere from 375 to 395rwhp through M6 w/ maybe 150lbs removed.

I am not using nitrous yet, but everything else in my sig is correct. I was able to pull 1.72 60ft times with a horribly warmed up ET Street. Do you think I could get 1.5's if I burn out properly? Here is the video, it doesn't show my burnout though. But does it not look like I am slipping way to much on the launch?

Also I have single adjustable coilovers all around. How loose should the strange front coilovers be? and I'm assuming the QA1 rear coilovers should be pretty stiff? Thanks for any help. Here is the video....(Times will look funny since I slowed down at the 1/8th and it was clocking us at the 1/4)

Sounds to me like you bogged a little off the line or am I wrong? What rpm are you releasing the clutch at ? Also what gears are in the car?

I would start with the rear shock either full loose or atleast 2nd from full loose and keep adjusting stiffer until you don't hook and then back off 1 click. Also the front shocks you want the extension loose as well.

Somewhere between 4,000-5,000rpms. I plan on getting a launch controller. I have 3.89 gears cause I plan on eventually using nitrous.

That is plenty of tire. Looks like you need to play with the shock settings. I think your rears are set up too stiff on the extension side if I read your post correctly.

I noticed you said extension side. All I have is single adjustable. I'm not sure if singles are just compression or extension.

Singles are extension and you want them on the softer side. The front so that the weight transfers. The rear soft so it helps plant the rear tires and drives them into the ground.

The front you want to lift up and transfer the weight to the rear. The only reason you would want to stiffen the front up/hold the front end down some is if you were having bad wheelstand issues. You want the rear as soft as possible without hurting your 60'. There is a such thing as too much bite. You waste energy planting the tires instead of moving the car forward.
