Default PICS of weight reduction in progress

I was just trying to find some weight to offset the cage going in. But Im only part way through the car and have found over 100 lbs of useless crap so far. Havent even gotten to to doors and engine bay or K member. Some of the surprising things i found was the sound dampner material in the T-top storage area under the carpet. It was also over the metal in the fwd part of the dash area. I used a heat gun and paint scraper to get it out. Balled it up and put it in a bag. I would estimate 10 lbs alone. Anyways the pic of the guy (Brandon) standing on the scale with all the stuff added up to 97 lbs and there is alot of stuff on the floor we couldnt get ontop of the box. Also keep in mid...this is the 3rd time ive done weight reduction...so the obvious stuff is already gone. This was the things that were a little harder to get at.
I have a few more brackets to lop off then the aircraft insulation (ultra lightweight) goes in some areas. Then cage, lightweight carpet and ALL the interior panels will go back in with some race seats. The 12 bolt, BMR suspension, K member next.

Now I know what I have to look forward too over the winter. Looks like a ton of useless crap there. I can't wait to see what I find when I start ripping mine apart.

Bigplan...Im not sure what it will weigh. Ill be sure to weight it when its done.

Brian....lol..I like to eat too much...ill put up with that weight penalty.

MIke...after seeing your car and how well it runs..its ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!

Assasin...its a grant wheel and I just used a regular Grant adapter. It just takes a little modification to make it work. Its pretty easy.

Im hoping for 3150 or less. I have an iron block so thats not helping. We will see.
