Default Quality issue: Rack off location on PA Racing K-member

Since I have bought my car, the placement of the rack has always looked a bit odd and the boot on the rack on the passenger side was worn.

When I contacted PA racing, their tech told me to flip the control arm bolt so it would'nt be as close to the boot on the rack.

Well, I had the rack off the car when changing out my headers, so I decided to take some measurements. The rack was sitting 1/2" closer to the crossmember that runs below the oil pan on the passenger side than on the drivers side.

Rather than consult "tech" again, we just fabricated a new mount and got it squared up.

This is not the first issue I have heard with placement of fairly important items on these K-members, so buyer beware! Or buyer get a Sawzall, grinder, and welder!
