For TA's: Front Bumper Support Delete but Retain Fogs
Finished hacking away at the support. Not only do I keep my fogs, but the 3 mounting holes for the bumper holes are intact and provide a sturdy reinforcement for the front end. Now I don't have to bother with custom fabbing some kind of bracket to hold everything in.

I don't remember what the underside looks like by memory. I did the rear maybe 3 weeks ago and it's been stored in my garage and I've been working on the front and other things. I'm going to work on the rear in the next few days so check back for some pics.

Removed mine tonight. The support bar weighed16 lbs by itself and the foam maybe another 2-3. This was for the front. I will hack it apart in the upcoming week to retain the foglights as you did. Was hoping this thing weighed more though. Post up when you start on the rear support.

You probably didn't take out the whole thing. If you took off the rear bumper and took the plastic "egg crate" right off, then you probably still have the metal support attached. You have to go underneath the car and locate the 3 nuts on the end of each frame rail. Once you remove the 6 total nuts from the inside, pull the support out.
I am about 85% done with the rear fab so I'll post up pics hopefully tomorrow.
