Default accufab 4150 & stock hood

will an accufab tb sitting on a gmpp carb intake fit under a stock z28 hood also has the gemini 2 stage plate.

I seriously doubt it will fit. I have a super vic and I stuck it under my hood to see how much I would have to cut. My super vic should be about as tall as your GMPP with the plate on it. There's about an inch and a half of clearance at the front of the cowling and about half an inch at the rear.

I doubt it also, especially with the N2O plate. I have a Victor Jr., 4150 Accufab and a Spectre carb hat. Mine fits under a flat VFN hood but the front of the carb hat is touching I think. It is REAL tight!

Mike you have any pics of that? who did it do ober a fast or LS6 intake? thats the next thing I want to do

i didnt think it would work either but i had to ask. i guess ill start looking at hoods.

Pics will be up in a few minutes. I have no comparisson because it is on a much larger engine with a cam designed for the single plane.

I know my Victor JR and 4500 TB wouldn't come CLOSE to fitting without a cowl hood.

one time I was looking through the for sale adds and saw a pic of a vic jr and a 4150 under the stock cowl without cutting it. Of course there wasn't a carb hat or any kind of filter on it though, but for a race application it might be ok.
