Default Lightweight alternator?

My buddy has a small mini alternator on his carb'd notchback. Will save me about 6lbs total and thats in a premiuim location far forward of the firewall. Is anyone running one of these? Alot of my weight reduction mods eliminated some of the amp draw that most street cars still see. I have removed the stereo,ABS, and A/C. The things I power are the ECU,headlights, small Mojave heater, fuel pump, coils, injectors, rad fan.

Thanks

Default

I have one sitting here waiting to go on when I put the car back together as well. It wouldn't work with the stock pulley because of where it will mount (flat bracket off the motor plate) so I have to wait until I change the dampner when the car goes back together, then figure out how I can align it.

You have alot of weight left to take out of the car, if you're willing to do some cutting and refabbing. Take it to PM if you'd like.
