Default Tubular shock towers

I've done a search with no results.

It seems I've seen a few cars where they cut out the shock towers and tied in a tubular tower into the cage. Does anyone have more info on this?

Search for 9sec93. He had a back halfed car that he did, and is one of the the most popular when it comes to this kind of modification.

Ive got some pics off a couple of cars. When I get to the house Ill post them. I have some that they also keep a small amount of the tower and tube up around it.

Here's what I've found thus far. It looks like 9sec93 changed his design a little.
