Default msd 2 step

got it hooked up today, easy installation and worked great, so is it common for it to blow black gas smoke out the pipes considering its cutting the spark but not the fuel?? will this hurt anything or not? ? thanks

Some black smoke is normal, and it won't hurt anything as long as you don't have it activated for extended periods of time (30+ seconds). After that you risk fowling the plugs and messing with the O2's.
