Weight Reduction
I've pulled the interior out of my car, and am going to start chopping out any excess metal I can get at this weekend. I've already cut out the part where the rear seats bolt down, and was looking up how to remove the rest of it that's welded down. A few threads mentioned drilling the welds out. When I mentioned that to my boyfriend he said not to bother, because I'll have to have those holes welded shut again. Is that true?
Sorry for the stupid question, I'm new to this, and still learning!

Great if you need something quick and don't care if it breaks on the 3rd or 4th use.

That being said, I've picked up a few random items there from time to time that served their purpose.
(IE: Cheap tools I can leave in my desk and not care if someone steals or breaks them)
I think I saw a similar store last time I was in the London/Kitchener area. I don't remember it's name though.

Ohhh ok. Makes sense. We have a company called KMS tools here thats about the same. Good if you need something quick, but definately not high quality tools!
I'm on Vancouver Island, on the west coast, so I doubt we'd have the same stores as Kitchner anyways!

Oddly enough ... http://www.albernidragracing.com/website/home.html
We have two small tracks on the island. One in Victoria where I live, and one about 4 hours north up the island. Both are oval tracks, but they let us use one of the "long sides" on Sunday mornings for bracket racing. Our track in Victoria is 384' long. Basically launch, GOGOGOSTOP!!!! Yeah. Pretty lame.

KMS Should have what your looking for, as they have a decent selection for body work tools and such. if not try princess auto not sure if you have any on the island. Do you ever make it out to mission during the spring/summer? I try to make it out to mission raceway every friday night for the street legal drags.

I didnt make it to Mission this year, I did last year though. I can't usually make it to the Friday night street legals because they start at 4pm. Which means I'd have to catch the 1pm ferry, which means missing a half day of work
I'll be there this year for a few of the regular drags on the weekend, come introduce yourself! My T/A will likely be satin black by then (I'm having paint issues), and I'll probably be the only girl there with a 4th gen

Ya I guess its kinda tough to make it out if you work on fridays. On some of the fridays the have test and tune which starts in the morning and goes to around 4pm, I plan to take a few fridays off to do the test and tune, That would prob be more worth your while since you'd have a full day to race. If I see you there I'll be sure to say Hi.
Good luck with your build.
