PVC Delete driver valve cover breather???
I have the Metco breather on the passenger side oil filler tube but what breather setup are you guys using on the driver side rear of the stock valve covers? I looked in the stickies and did a search but most everyone is using a catch can setup which I eventually will. Just want to get the car running and on the street for now. I have a second metco breather which does not fit the hole in the cast aluminum cover. Thanks

Oh, and the breather I'm talking about. Is the same studded breather that comes with the cold air kit which is generally for the air system. I removed the stock PCV and cut the bottom plastic of the hose on the driver side valve cover. I will take a pic of the modified breather tomorrow

no problemo
how does that work out? 2 driver side valve covers? they arent symetrical, so they wouldnt be able to interchange between driver to pass side heads

Sorry I meant to say two PASSENGER side valve covers. I removed the fill tube and screwed in the Metco breather. Works out great

I always just replcaed the cap with the breather, but if you can get the breather in place of the actual plastic fill cap then I can see the passenger's side working on the drivers side that way.
Good idea
I put a set of nasty performance valve covers on.. and they had a -10 bung welded on both. I couldn't find a thread on breather... so I ran a -10 line around the back from the drivers side to the passenger's side, put a T fitting on there, then ran a -10 line up to a moroso breather/catch can. It's worked out pretty good so far.

I took the plastic piece off of the original pcv system. If you peel back the plastic there is a connector that already went into that hole. Go to an auto parts store by a cheap filter for like 2 bucks and slap it on.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread. Was going to use the plastic piece from the PVC system like pictured above and it broke. Anyone have any ideas for another way to get the filter on the driver side valve cover? Im so pissed at myself for cracking it. Already have the filter now i gotta figure a way to attach it.
