Default Wireing in a BBC into a 4th Gen TA

I am really thinking about putting in a BBC motor (Carbed) into my 01 TA. The one thing that I need to know is...... my car is still streetable, so I need all the lights, locks, pwr windows etc. How do you keep all that but have an MSD ignition and non fuel injected???

Please give me some good advise.....

This thread is not about LSX VS BBC so lets not go there.

Thanks

Mine was done with a Painless harness that kept everything. I have lights, turn signals, etc... all the way down to power windows.

My only advise is to pay attention to the labels on the wires, solder all joints, heat shrink all joints, and DO NOT rely on crimp connectors!

I used a painless harness as well. I have the bare essentials for a street car though. Lo Lights, Hi beam, turn, tail, and gauges.

My harness is considered a pro street harness part # 50002

Not sure how much you're looking to retain.

i would go with somehting like a spaghetti menders or racecar type wiring... i use toggle switches for windows and the spaghetti menders controls the lights and other stuff.... spaghetti menders is pricey but if i was building a street BBC 4th gen thats the way i'd go.
