Default Paul Major in 275?????????

over on the other big drag racing site Paul Major is inquiring to what is the current 275 record and said that he would be interested in building a LS powered F body to run the class with.

And on another note he said the vette is coming along good after the crash at the shakedown.

I guess that motor is setup for a turbo but with a quick piston/cam change it would be ready for the juice. I would love to see some major players in 275 but then again that would probably kill the class because of the instant influx of money.

Be interesting to see what power adder he would choose.
I think under the current rules the N20 cars have a slight advantage, esp. since its 1/8th mile.

Wow, I can't believe the Vette was salvageable.

The 275 record is 7.32, but not by any class rules. I think by class rules it's a 7.50.

He wanted to know what the east coast record was.
Its Smith with a 5.07

The rules are tighter for the east coast, the west coast is damn near ODR.
