you will need a new alignment as toe will be affected by the new rack and tie rods arent in the same location.

Call me when you're ready to order the manual rack. We can give you alignment specs for our bump steer we use. It's best to find someone that can do alignments the old way, w/out a computer.

I have a MadMan manual rack in mine, with his bump steer correction kit, and love it. My wheel alignment guy was impressed with it's lack of bump steer. Had it for 4 or 5 years now with zero problems.

We use a Flaming River version of the Pinto rack. Most of the other manufacturers of Pinto racks use a plastic bushing for the rack to slid on. Flaming River uses a bronze bushing. We have one tab that welds to the k-member as a safety precaution. Our steering shafts will fit with the Kooks headers and the UMI k-member.

Madman you have a pic of one of your steering shafts? I'm curious how you make yours... Chuck shipped me some parts so I can try to redo the one I got from him because it's hitting the #1 primary something fierce.

It's not recommended, but it will work. From what I've heard, it's a bit harder to steer with full sized tires.
