How fast did you take your FACTORY Torque Arm?

Default How fast did you take your FACTORY Torque Arm?

Just outta curiosity i just wanted to see how fast some people went with their Factory Torque Arm time and 60ft and if you know your weight. my car was full weight with an iron block and it went 10.29 with a 1.39 60 at full weight i know this is prolly a stupid idea to go that fast with it but it worked it didnt break so. just wanted to see what the fastest time ever was on one of these were

full weight TA went 26 inch tall slick went 1.42 60ft and 10.23 1/4 mile with a 10 bolt 150 shot of spray.

I know of a guy whos been 4.90's with one.. Its in a third generation car though, so I dont know how much different they are from the fourth generation cars. I know a friend of mine tore up a factory torque arm with a bolton LS1 car.. *shrug*

1.47's on the factory torque arm and 10-bolt N/A. Stalled A3 here...

Pretty sure thats flat getin it with a stock part, what was the rest of the setup in the rear? must be a autos also i would imagine.

Had a customer running 9.90's with one but started to develop problems 30-40' out the torque arm would bend then spring back and unload the car

5.56@125 with a 1.29 60ft

Took the TA off and welded a 1in pipe down the length of it and welded the front bracket up so it couldn't split apart and added a bar that went to crossmember to help not brake the tail housing. It was a stock ta though.

i went 10.6s 1.46-1.48 60ft full weight lt1 with stock everything on the suspension no front sway bar,on a 28x10 tire.

I got to see a video of this. That is straight flyin for a stock arm. 8's on a stock arm is nuts.
