Question What Kirkey pro street width to get? And 5 point harness length?

Hey guys, I'm about to order a set of kirkey seat but am unsure on what width to get. I was looking into the 17" wide, but after doing a search it seem they will be to wide for me. I'm 20 y/o 6' 190lbs with a 34" waist, so leaving a little room to grow might be a good idea, I doubt I'll ever be over 220 and 36" waist. What width do you guys recomend? The car will be driven on the street a fair amount so I don't want to be squeezed into them.

Also I'm going to need a pair of 5 point harnesses aswell, but am unsure of the length I'll need. They will be mounted to the rollbar cross bar. This is the set I was looking into.

Would these work? What would you guys recomend.

Thanks in advance guys.

Ryan

The 17" is what you want. I'm 5-11 185 and they fit good. Had some Corbeaus that were narrow and never could get comf. in them. I bought some high density foam to add for padding. I cut it to fit under the snap on covers that Kirkey sells. The belts are adjustable, not sure of the length that I bought.

I run a 17 on the drivers side, and an 18 on the passenger side, in the process of picking out a harness.

Why dont you measure and get the one that fits you? Kirkey has a measurement process on their web page.

Thanks, looks like the 17 will be best for me. Now just to figure out what harness length I need.

Unless I'm confused most of the harness's are adjustable.

I'm not sure why you're wondering about harness length. Get a set of Impact harnesses and you're good to go.

Ya I knew they were adjustable but wasnt really sure because I've seen different lengths advertised. I've never bought harness before thanks for clearing that up.

How did you mount your 18" kirkey on the passenger side? I'm having trouble getting mine to fit, hits the rollbar and brackets don't seem to be wide enough

I'm using the racecraft brackets, I'm still trying to get my passenger one to fit in there, I'm having trouble as well. I think I'm going to have to do some slight grinding on the seat.

Mine was a tight fit on the pass. side. You can't move them back to the rear very far. I bought the race craft brackets and had to modify them to fit. It was a lot of work. I'm thinking about getting some other seats. Any ideas?
On the drivers side I used the stock non power tracks to mount them. The race craft brackets had me sitting to low and flat. Mignt do that on the pass side also.
