alright im at a toss up between the 2..best bet i figure would be to go with what ever one has the most clearence for a carb engine..so does anyone know what each one measures fron the bottom of the flat part of the hood (stock hood line)to the highest point of the cowl on the inside ? I imagine the glass tek is 4" but i know some hood say an number but are not true to it..

Don't know the measurement but my Sunoco wide extended has a ton of room above my carb. I've got a air cleaner on top of the carb/vic jr and there's still maybe 5-6" above that

you think you could measure the under sude real fast? From the flat part to the cowl...i was org going to ask about above peoples intake an such but it wouldnt be accurate do to carbs,throttle bodys,n2o plates,spacers and motor plates or diff k members an such..

Can't take any measurements for you as my car/trailer/shop aren't here on the same property as my house. Take a look at these pics though. You can see a silloette(spelling?) on the windshield of where the cowl rests. It's gives you an idea of how much clearance is actually there. I'm looking to see if I have some more pics.
