Did a minor weight reduction yesterday. Shed 100lbs
I removed backseats w/seatbelts and hardware, spair tire and jack,t top holders,cd changer and bracket, tunnel bracket, the back trim interior piece I have no idea what its called.....also last week i did lts, ory, and borla which lightened up the exhaust system over stock.
I weighed all the stuff and came up with 80-85lbs. Then with the lightened up exhaust im assuming I shed at least 100lbs combined.
I know most people are gonna say you cant feel the difference but I can.
I remember a couple years ago I picked up a window ac and put it in my passenger seat. When I drove back I could deff tell the car didnt move like before the extra weight. The ac wasnt even close to 100lbs so thats gotta say somethin.

Not persay in the T/A I just know when I have passangers in my regular Buick, that 2 people in the back will change the characteristics on how a car handles or accelerates.
When it comes to adding power, general rule for SOTP is 8% increase based on RWHP dyno #'s and if the mod does not do that. Then you cannot fee it. Throttle response is different then acceleration. Reducing weight is useually good for 100 pounds for every tenth and where it comes off can make a bigger diff.
Glad your work paid off!
