Default relocated battery, now having trouble with alternator

hey guys, i have a 94 formula with an lt1 and well like the title states, i relocated the battery to the trunk, but i am uncertain of how to run the cables...

i ran a cable from the battery to the distribution block (little red box)

then i ran two cables from the distribution block, one to the starter, and the other one to the alternator

i got this idea from here https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...-question.html

now the problem im having with this setup is that the alternator has gone crazy and screams really really loud

i got it rebuilt and still the same thing

i even swapped it out with a good one from my other car (95 z28 with an lt1) and same thing

the alternator gets extremely hot too, o and another wierd thing is that when i plug in that connection on the back, it screams, i unplug it, it goes away

would anyone ahve any idea wtf is wrong here

Alt is running WFO....Check the voltage.
Also, if you are doing the relo to take to the track, that setup will not pass tech.

The wire size from the batt. might be to small, bad ground, loose connection, bad alt. The diagram above works but will reset the computer when you turn it off. Killing the fuel pump is a better way for street driven cars. You still want to dissconnect the main cable going to the starter with the switch. This will also pass tech.
