Default HEEEEEEEELLP! please

My goal this summer was to run 10anything. last year
i ran 11.20 at 122mph. Over the winter I put on qa1r,s bogart big and littles. took out about 100lbs and took out the swaybar. last sunday I ran a 11.03 at 124. I thought for sure that would do it. I.ve got a A4 with a 3400 stall .My best 60ft last year was 1.67 this year was 1.59. running a moser 9in with 3.50 gears. do I need a bigger stall?Better gears? both? also running 275/50/15 mt drag radials. Almost full weight 02 trans am with a vortech supercharger, dart heads, fast intake.I know I,m almost there just trying to figure the best way to get there. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks Mike

a 3.89 gear would get you there, a 4.11 might be a little to much. what rpm are you running it to?

3.89 would be the best choice then unless you want to spin it over 7000rpm

I'd go 4000-4200 stall and try to remove more weight.

You can probably get away with 4.11's if you spin it up to 6700. They definitely will make a difference. It made a big difference on my car going to the 4.11 from 3.73.

I think the first thing I,ll try is the 3.89 and lose the rear seats and see how that goes eventually I do want to get a bigger converter from what i.ve read a 4000 sounds pretty good, leaning towards a Yank. Just wanted to get some ideas from people thats been there done that, THANKS

take the seats out, add a front bumper brace, pull the carpet and insulation and put in lightweight carpet. That'll drop about 175 lbs there.

I think 6700 would be ok and if it seemed too much I could go with a taller tire

Exactly, you'll like the get-up of the 4.11's. They just suck if you daily drive the car around.

Go for it then. You'll probably have some trouble making the traps in 3rd with an A4

I'd leave the gear alone and get a converter built to the car, and try to get some more weight out, see what that gets you first. You up the boost, and next thing you know you'll be running out of gear.

Tallest rear tire you can fit and the 4.33s sound good to me also. Just look at all the SE/SS race cars, Huge gears (4.56-4.88s and huge tires(30-31s). Those cars straight fly for the HP they have.

I ordered 295/55/15mt drag radials and a 4.10 gear , what do you think? Will I still be going through the traps at too high of rpm, or should I go with the 3.89
