Default Hidden 2 Step Switch!

Iv got the Lingenfelter 2 Step and I didnt like having to use a Micro or Momentary switch, or really it being visible. Being a 6 speed, I thought I could use my shifter to activate it only if first gear! I wanted to keep it simple but yet hidden.

This is what I did!

Cool idea!!!
I just relocated mine. I had a momentary switch on the steering wheel but when I ordered my line lock I also ordered a shifter stick mounted momentary for it. I decided to use that for my 2 step and my N2oOultet ashtray panel to activate the LL off the bottle heater switch(I have a NANO) Came out pretty damn good

Do you have it positioned so it will only work in 1st gear?

I did the same thing but quickly found out that it would hit the rev limiter of the two step before I shifted into 2nd gear along with the launch. I hope it works for you.
Good luck.

Is it also tethered to the clutch? It must be otherwise it will stay activated when you launch and are in 1st...

Yes its only in first gear. I have cut into the factory clutch switch, and from there to the micro-switch and from that to a power on/off. As soon as the clutch is released it kills power and goes back to normal Wide Open Throttle. On the street it seems really cool. Put the car in first, clutch to the floor, WOT, Rs go to 5000 (my set point for now). Side Step it and the turd goes to smoking the tires! Pulls all the way to 7000 in first no problem. I havent had any issues with hitting the rev limiter on the box its self..just trying to keep it off the main one is another issue
