Default Guys with Lokar throttle cables in here please

How did you hook up the pedal end? Did you drill the pedal?

Did you cut the stock cable, slide off the little deal that locks into the pedal and slide it on the Lokar cable?

The hole in my firewall is too big, did you guys put washers on the cable to make it work? Thats what I did.

What a pain, the cable did not take kindly to being done that way. A few strays popped up.

If you use a stock cable from a 3rd gen camaro it will fit the pedal assembly perfect. It will also fit into an aftermarket throttle cable bracket(like a carb style bracket).

The only thing I had to do was cut back the plastic around the cable towards the throttle end. Otherwise it would not allow for full throttle.

Well if you get sick of messing with it, the GM cable was about 40 bucks.

I'm running a V6 3rd gen cable and picked it out of the junkyard for $10.

I had to modify it like z28racer said

Wellll I started the car last night, the first time I stepped on the pedal it pulled the stop right through the factory black plastic deal I put on there. I HOPE I can get the cable back in and out of the sheath once more to get the clevis it came with back on it. It will work I think as long as I tie rap it in there.

I took the cable back out, put the clevis end it came with back on, put it in the pedal and took some Chanelocks and squeezed the hole shut at the top
