i wanted to make this thread to give some insight on how a bbody gets tubbed im putting a chris alston back half which was going to be put on my brothers grand national but he ended up giving it to me. the tires are 29x18.5x15 mickey sportman pros and 15x15 draglites.

im installing a pro street eliminator(i think thats the name) 4 link kit from cachassisworks.com
moser m9 rear end (when i get the cash to order it ahahahaha)
sw race cars 10 point chromoly roll cage.
do all the back half tin work.

started today by cutting off the stock wheel tubbs and the rear part of the frame ALL THE CUTS ARE NOT FINAL WE RATHER CUT NOT ENOUGH THAN TOO MUCH.

btw me and a friend are doing this whole project by our selfs and with a little guide of my engine builder.

any questions please ask!!!

Your starting to many tasks at once. First you should of got your engine running and wiring done and then started your suspension setup.

All I need for the engine is a starter ground wire and pick up and install the water pump. Oil. And fuel. Even if I get it started still don't have the trans in it so its not going anywhere.

I thought you still needed to finish the turbo kit.

Don't need the turbos to start the motor. Plus my brother gave this back half kit so I wanted to put it on before hes out of prison and wants it back lol.

today we cut more of the stock wheel tubs and the middle part of the floorboards.

next step is final cutting the frame and boxing it in and welding the new one in.
