Default Burnout question

OK installing the linelock this weekend. When I race I run ET streets... I have been toasting tires launching at 3 grand since day 1. I was told it was from not heating the tires enough, well we will see.

"On the street" We have a lot of land down here in the country..... should I pour water on the street to do a burnout? We race on a blacktop road that has so many tire marks it may as well be a track its off a bridge so there is concrete there.

Thanks,

with the line lock installed burnouts are going to be stupid easy with any size tire, just line lock it and do a burnout for about 5 good seconds, that should be enough to heat them to hook great, run around 12 psi also,

If possible burnout in 2nd gear, gets the tires spinning faster.

Thanks guys. I figured the water would heat them easier and put less strain on the drivetrain. I have never had a line lock before and just did not know.
