How do you guys race your 4l60e autos?

If you were to have amanual valve body you would have to shift but I don't know if the make a manual valve body for the 60e.

I run a 700r4 which is a 4l60e just without the comp. I hold it in gear since my weights want it to shift at 4500 instead of 5200 where I want it to. If your shift point is tuned right then leave it in drive or 3rd

OD at WOT will destroy **** if you are making good power! OD is meant for cruising and not excelerating, especialy if giving it hell.
I would think factory the car shouldn't shift in to OD at wot so I am guessing the guys with that problem have custom tunes and had that changed.(not sure why)

How is a factory car, being able to shift into 4th at wot a problem ? You think when Car and Driver test an auto car they let of the gas and let it shift into 4th at 3/4 throttle or something, sorry, not a chance.
