Default stock wiring harness

quick question for yall

i got my whole wiring harness out of the car right now, im getting rid of alot of stuff

(crusie control, horn, wipers an wiper motor, abs, maf sensor)

so can i just cut off the pigtails so i wont have all the extra sensors laying around? an pull the fuses?

also i have this small black box on my passenger side frame rail with a vaccum line going to it what the hell does it do?

I'm in the middle of doing the exact same thing on an 06 truck. If I'm no longer using something, I traced each wire from that connector and depinned it at its origin. I cut over 9lbs of wiring out this truck.

depinning is a pain in the *** can i just cut the connectors all my wires are getting hidden anyways just about.

plus tracking down some wires(ex abs. there are a couple grounds on it an other harnesses connect to it, so id have to make more grounds)
