Default Finally!!!!

Finally got a chance to get out to the track and get some times last night!!!! I was supposed to run at Bradenton a few weeks ago, but I broke a valvespring, so I was gonna get heads, but ran into some money problems so I just replaced the springs. My setup = Turbo 400 w/ 4000 stall, comp 228/228 .588/.588 112+4 cam, jet-hot lt's, 3" x pipe and bullets dumped, air lid and filter, ls6 intake, moser 12-bolt w/ 3.73's, and 27x10.5x15 hoosier qtp's. It's still untuned except for idle and rev limiter and little stuff like that (it should be getting a tune this week).

First run:

60' - 1.60
330 - 4.007
1/8 - 7.475
mph - 92.25
1000 - 9.704
1/4 - 11.744
mph - 115.10

Second run, tried raising my shift points from 6500 to 6600, and it didn't like it, so I guess 6500 is the sweet spot!

60' - 1.63
330 - 4.893
1/8 - 7.607
mph - 90.51
1000 - 9.952
1/4 - 11.940
mph - 113.42

And then I got the boot for no cage! It was so much fun, and i'm so happy!!!!! Finally 11's, and those 60's felt wicked!!!!

Thanks guys, I can't wait to tune it, plus I have an ASP pulley that I haven't put on yet! I'm curious, you guys think I could get 2 - 3 tenths out of the tune and the pulley and maybe pull an 11.4 or 11.5? Or am I askin for too much?

My car picked up a .1/1mph with tuning and i picked up almost nothing with my pulley but every little bit helps. With the tuning and a better 60ft. you should hit 11.50s@116.

That would be so sweet!!! Now my other question is, do you guys think that the 27" tire is too big w/ my 3.73's? Like when I burn these up, should I get a 26", or will it not hook?
