Question about lowering springs for you street/strip guys
I'm interested in lowering my car and was wondering if anyone out there can tell me about the effects its had on their time's.
The Strano springs have low rates in the rear does this help band-aid the ill effects of a lowered car coming off the line?

I went with with the Afco strut and spring assy in the front. It 's expensive but you can adjust the ride height by compressing the spring with the adjusting nut. With these shocks you can adjust them for any kind of driving that you will do. Take off the sway bar and lossen the shocks and you have a drag set up. Put the bar back on and tighten the shocks and you have a street ,auto cross set up. I'm still running stock rear springs with the spring isolators removed and the Afco shocks. This set up will do everything that you want.
If you do lower the car you need to algin the rear axle center and side to side distances. You will need adjustable rear control arms and pan hard bar to do this.
I would have the front end checked all so. You could run Koni shocks. The double or single adjustable ones. if you are going to do more street driving then racing the Konis are a better choice (IMO).

Although I am thinking about going with something different....maybe QA1's or stock springs with the Koni's.

I have Koni SA shocks and strano springs. I Run 1.535 60` on 27 x 11.50 x 15 Hooiers QTP. Car really started to hook when LCA angle and torque arm instant center was set right.

Kinda what I am thinking.
I had it dead hooking for a while....but it would bog.
Then the tires wore down, and haven't had the chance to get new ones on there.
Thinking a little more hear wouldn't hurt either.
Eff my altitude.....

been 1.4 60's on eibach prokit and stock shocks all around. It has a umi short ta , umi lower control arms, a sphon drag bar lower, and control arm relocation brackets.. 295 55 15 mt dr's. 18psi no front sway but the front suspension is all stock. no lifting the wheels just leaves hard and drags on road crown.
