Default Another 6spd launch?

The car weighs 3200. I have QA-1's with 275# springs up front and stock shocks with 1" lowering springs on the back. The fronts are set at 1. The LCA's and short TA are at the lowest holes. 11 psi in the 28" QTP's and the first pass was a 5k launch with a 1.52 60' the second was a 6k launch with a 1.49 60'. Do I need to try something different?

About all the 2nd vid shows is dr side wheel hop...
11psi in the tires too low? Have you tried different pressures?
Maybe the vids from the side would be useful in determining what's going on??

Ditch the lowering sring, get Adj shocks in the rear, and install UMI drag bar. THEN you will be cooking.

Put the stock springs back in, with a set of adjustable rear shock, add a drag bar, and a 2 step.

Those 3 things will make it a whole different car.

11 psi for that tire is about as low as I would go too. You should be able to get it to work at about 12 to 13

Its got a MWC drag bar and I started the tire pressure out at 13 hot. 11 psi ended up doing the best. It was a tnt night so the track prep wasn't the greatest. The two step might be my next investment. If I put the stock springs back in, can you cut them to get the height you want or will that screw them up?

This is what it looked like before the drag bar. And it had 27" QTP's there.

The second vid shows too much separation/anti-squat on the hit. IMO a taller rear spring (ie stock) will probably make it worse because it will increase the rear lca angle and make even more anti-squat. Get a better shock in the rear to control what you have now (ie much stiffer shock setting) and you'll be flying out of the hole. Give Madman a call, he'll get you setup with exactly what you need to control that axle movement on a stick/clutch car.

rear shocks.

i htink you found it likes that low of psi, for the lack of shocks and useing the sidewalls as shock contraol. if you have that raw vid and can slow it down check that out. youtube will only cut down to a few frames. but you will see the rear end, and tire on the rim shaking.

ya stock rear coils. no isolater was 3/4 lower then stock on my car with some weight removal. i cut one coil and that was only like 1/2 drop. think i have 1.5 coils cut. most rearends have the coils pads taller then stock off the axle centerline too. my cars sits 27 3/4 front and 28 rear to the lip on the fender

You need 2 step snd a good set of double adjustable shocks. I can make the car work with the springs you have. Give us a call.

Just for informative sake. What will double adj. shocks do vs. single adj.
I don't know much about shocks

Can I adjust my IC to help with any of this?

Good question, And how much power do you make and what times did you run?

It gives more control on the compression rates and the rebound. I am running singles and I will get to see later this year if my heavy M6 starts showing issues. We will see.

More adjustability for changing track conditions.

Stick cars need a double adjustable shock more so than an auto. The clutch shocks the suspension differently. On a double you can adjust rebound(extension) and compression individually.

When a stick car leaves it slams the tire into the track and tries to crush the tire. A tire is just like a basket ball. If you jump on top of it it will compress then it will throw your *** off. We have a valve we put in the AFCO shocks that will help control this and get the car to 60ft better.
