Default Wolfe 10-point is it enough....582BBC

I am in the process of building a 8.50 car. I am installing a 582 Shafiroff BBC and was wondering if the Wolfe 10 point cage will be enough to stable up my car. (stop twisting) The motor has 830 FT/LBS of torque, 1030 HP. I have Wolfe's 8 point now all I will do is get there front half. I also have UMI SFC (3-point)

Please give me your suggestions.

Thanks

I'd ditch the umi subframes and do through the floor type and tie the 10 pt into them.

And run a couple bars thru the firewall to tie the front of the car up. That motor is a beast!

imo you will be fine w/o bars down through the shock tower/firewall. They won't hurt though.

Since my 8 point is allready in....there really is no way to put in the Wolfe subframes. If I weld in the UMI ones will they be good enough. Also my rear bars go to the fenders (through the plastic) not the deck.

OR

Do I start over with the whole kit .....

What kit do you have? a full 10 pt kit? 8 to 10 point conversion?

Right now in the car is a Wolfe 6 point with subframe down bars, Welded in, with the rear bars going through the plastic to the fenders.

I will need to be certified to 8.50 with my new setup
