Default Anyone have true rear coilovers?

I'm looking to do a true relocated rear coilover setup, not the stock shock mounts. IE remove the stack gas tank, run a crossbar between the framerails and run some Strange 12" or 14" coilovers.

Anyone done it with pics?

Benefit of doing this is that you get a little better control over axle movement (think, shocks are further back now and the farther they get form the pivot point the more they move when the tire is closer to the pivot point then the shock is), ride height adjustments, depending on what type of bracket you use can be easily done as well, clearance, ease of getting to the shocks to make adjustments as well.

I'm in the process of doing this, and putting a HUGE rear swaybar in the car, also mounted to the same bar that spans the frame rails, and is tied into the cage.

Pics to come once it's done.

We have the AFCO double adjustables, with springs, coil-over bearings, etc. Give us a call if you're interested. When you buy through us, you'll get the Madman specific valving, and our tech support/experience with these cars.

My phone number is 225-673-3533.

Well, honestly on these cars we don't run a coil-over on the rear that often. We'd rather have the option to run all of the stock suspension races, so we keep the coil-overs on the front, and run the "stock" set-up on the rear.

When we do go rear coilover, we use the 12" springs with AFCO double adjustables.
