Which springs to run with QA1s? is there a new and old style HAL spring?

Which springs to run with QA1s? is there a new and old style HAL spring? I've heard a few different things when it comes to the front springs. Some said the HALs were too bouncy, but it would be ok with a light light car.
Would it be a better bet to go with stock springs up front, or the HALs? Anyone know that there is for sure a difference in HAL springs from what they used to be?

Don't know about the difference but can tell you about mine. Bought last Christmas. No bouncing. handles great on the street. Set the shocks at 8 with no front sway bar to improv cornering back to stock feel. Put sway bar on if you want more or are roadracing.
