Default Wolfe racecraft mini tubs with a 30" tire??

We just recently mini tubbed my car with a wolfe racecraft mini tub kit. Curious if I can fit a 30x12.50 et street or a 315/60R15 et drag radial andstill sit the car down pretty low?? I have purchased a moser 9 inch narrowed 3 inches on both sides and running a 15x10 5"bs wheel. and info or pics would be very appreciated.

a 315/60/15 should fit very easily, at least I hope so cause thats what im running when I finish my mini tubs. Narrowed 3" should be pretty good, cant think of teh offset right now but even if its close you can either cut or roll the inner lip of the quarter.

As for a 30" slick im not sure, I know the wolfe website specifically names a 29" but I think it will be ok. Maybe someone with their tubs done could lend some advice lol

It won't be this season LOL.

But, I am making enough room for a 33x10.5W tire. No, a wolfe won't do that. Full 40 inch tub going in the car, outer and inner tub is coming out, control arms are getting shifted inward, bump stop and all that are going away as well.

A 315 tire will tuck in with a wolfe tub fine, 30 inch slick will as well.

fwiw I'm starting off with a 30x10.5 hoosier bias slick.. I "think" that wil be plenty for what I need, but if it's not, I will go strait to a 33x10.5x15W m/t tire. Honestly, I don't think that will be needed though.

It's got coil overs in the front. Wolfe adjustable upper spring mounts using a QA1 10" spring in the rear. He also raised the rear of the trans tunnel for more torque arm clearance.

There 275lb springs in the front and 150lb springs in the back. That'll make for one nasty looking camaro.

Default Offset

What did you have to do on the backside of your wheels for everything to clear? I like the way they tuck but my rear is only narrowed two in per side.I was thinking I need a 6" bs but not sure if I will have problems on the backside. I know it will take bfh and maybe remove bump stop. I want the most rubber I can possibly fit without sticking out of the wheel well

Can you keep the backseat with a mini tub? Sorry for the dumb question. Oh, and my back seat doesn't have the skeletal structure inside it, just the cushion only so it doesn't use the brackets to hold it in place, just large velcro strips. LOL Got 2 boys so had to have something and keep it light still!!

How do you keep the rear springs in place when the shocks top out?

Having 2 different Wolfe mini tubed car I don't know for sure but I have heard a few times that you can but I never tried. my biggest complaint is how the inner panels look after you have to trim them.

I know it is an older thread, but does anyone have any pics of the interior with the mini tubs installed? And +1 on the back seat question.
