Default What size dzus fasteners and springs for racecraft rails/vfn hood????

I think the title pretty much says it all but ive ordered a vfn extended pin on ws6 hood and and going to adapt the camaro racecraft rails but have no idea what size fasteners or springs to use. What did you Camaro guys use? Racecraft website says:

#6 .500 fasteners
#6 .375 springs

But it says that for everything...is that what everyone used. Ive searched but cant get a straight answer. Need to order rails and fasteners asap.

Thanks!

Ryan

I was thinking about doing that but wanted to ask first. I'll probably end up doing it anyway because I don't have much time to have this car ready.

racecraft set me up. #6 stuff, and the springs. They do enough cars to know most of the different hoods are different thicknesses and what space springs work the best.

Hey boss. I don't have any out or a micrometer. But I measured my pins at 1/2" and my springs at about a 1/4". Not sure if that helps you any.

Milspecproducts.com

They aint cheap, but by far the cleanest 1/4 turn fasteners you will find. As for strenght, theyre designed to hold aircraft cowlings on.
