Post your hotcam track times
My clutch is in! I will be going to the track soon and am don't have a clue what to expect from my setup. I have raced on the street but have never made a pass down the strip I'm nervous, and excited all at the same time

back in summer of 2001. Hotcam, SLp longtubes, NO tuning, stock clutch, 3.73 gears in 10 bolt, stock ls1 intake, stock throttle body, no weight reduction, stock shocks/springs
12.60@113.5 on god awful 2.15 sixty foot on 16" nittos.
90 percent humidity, shitty elevation.
never got to run it in cold weather because i would leave for school but it would go like that consistently.

I have seen a car with SLP LT's, full boltons, with a Ford 9 with 4.11's pull the whole front end off the ground in 1st and second :-) at the track... I think he went 12.00 at 119 or somehting, yeah the trap speed was friggin high. But then I also saw a STOCK and I mean STOCK including paper air filer and everything WS^ run 12.6 there also. Come to think about it, I think that was and is the fastest non modified LS1 ever.

Steve,i might be going back to hallsville in a few weeks on friday night if the weather is good. You better hope you don't snap the 10 bolt if you go because a new clutch, sticky track and a high rpm launch will end your day soon on a stock 10 bolt.

Here is a slip from a couple weeks ago. This is the first time I have run the car since adding the hotcam. There is a link to a video below. If you look close you can see that right front tire stop spinning on a couple of launches.
