Since the event is a 0.500 Pro-Tree, I think R/T will have just as much importance as ET.

1. The quickest ET cars might not be the most consistent at launching
2. Sleeping on the tree will kill several faster cars. Seen it happen too many times
3. Same track, same day, same weight, some of those faster cars become "average" cars.

I'd estimate 10.7-11.0 range. Not the quickest, but probably the most consistent.

That is what I am hoping for. Drill them at the tree and be very consistent.

I think it depends alot on the drivers r/t's and the consistency of the cars. A fast automatic car is going to be tough to beat on a pro tree. Who will be the starter at the race? Local? I noticed on the vid of the Cartek shootout grudge race it looked like the race was started too quickly after the second car bumped in-nearly impossible to recover from in a stick car on a pro tree. Should be interesting to see how many cars are in the 10's this year.

How hard is it to red-light on a .500 pro tree ?

Impossible if you leave on the yellow ?

maybe an auto could win at the tree (if they are experienced with the lights), but wouldnt a good 6-speed driver be able to catch up on the top end??
