Default Post pics of door bars.

looks like i need a cage for my car, so i need an idea of how most people run their door bars. i would like to see all different types like straight, low slung, swing out (although im not really leaning that way). and any other ideas. i have looked at the stickeys and searched but im not seeing just the door bar setup

buzz12586 I noticed you are really safe. You got the cage, window net, harness, everything gutted, AND AN AIR BAG lol You could probably save a few more pounds if you went with a Grant wheel or something. Safety first I guess! Haha just giving you a hard time...

I need to get some better pictures, but I have low slung and I daily drive my car. I find it easy to get in and out.

Maybe I'll snag more pictures tomorrow.

Wow that's a big difference between straight and low slung bars. I don't daily the car so I'm just for more of a comfort thing. Is there any strength issues with low slung vs straight bars or am I just overthinkng this?

I have the Wolfe 5-pt CM with the low slung bar and swing out. The low slung makes it easier to get in and out and the swing out let's me remove it for street driving.

Hmm they are Corbeau CR1s, not sure what they normally cost. I got them used from a guy with a fox body. I paid $500 or $600? Its been so long I've forgotten. Sold the fox body seat brackets for $100, then the Camaro brackets were close to $200 if I remember correctly. The harnesses were the large cost I think $330 shipped for the pair, I'm running Schroth 4 pt. harnesses.

Here is more pictures of my low slung doors and seats.

A bit tight of a fit on the passenger side.
