I kinda want to try a 25mm solid rear swaybar and just preload my airbag to 25 or 30, could that work or will it not be adequate?

I bought the Spohn. Haven't had a chance to try it at the track yet.

I have a 25mm (1") solid chromoly Spohn swaybar in the rear, but I never did any before and after results from the stock one at the track. I still leave the line a little crooked, but it pulls straight. I even tried to bump up the right rear Hal 1 to 2 notches more than the left rear, but the difference is minimal. Unless you step up to one of the rear sway bars with spherical rod ends, its not going to make that much of a difference because doesnt matter how thick the bar is, it still uses rubber/poly bushing which are going to flex. A rear swaybar that I have heard to work good, is the weld in Wolfe swaybar. You might try that out, unless you want to spend over $350 for an adjustable one. (BMR, Spohn) Good luck to you!

BMR extreme duty is what I run, no air bag.
Both wheels come equally off the ground,straight as an arrow.

This is what I was told about the solid sway bar + air bags...

"Yea it will be better than stock and help eliminate the 1 wheel wheelie, but if you want to plant the rear wheels and lift the front evenly and safely, get the anti-roll bar."

Thats what I did, I love the thing (Wolfe Anti-Roll Bar) I wish I done it sooner.

Same Here. You can put a level across the front facia and the bubble will stay dead center every time.

Great responses... Nvmyss that's exactly my concern.

The BMR one uses 2 welded connectors and 2 connectors that use bushings right?

The BMR has two large bolts that are welded to the frame in place of the factory location for the bushings. It uses an aluminum endlink with rod ends. They are bolted through top and bottom with no bushings. It makes the car very stiff and generates some clanking from time to time.

I run the BMR as well, both wheels come up evenly all the time, and the car has no cage.

I just put on the BMR, and yes, it is STIFF for street driving. I'll be looking into making a different end link for street driving. It should be much better at the track. Rides like a truck now, no kidding. A 1 ton.

i love my bmr bar. my car rides like **** anyway with full drag suspension and all that, the bar prolly contributes nicely to that though

ditto what people are saying on how the car leaves..its effortless, comes out straight as an arrow and pulls both wheels perfectly even, i love it.

so BMR is prob the way to go? How hard is install? and how bad is it on the street? is it just stiffer or handle worse?
I have spool and no front sway bar. how will it work?

Not hard at all to install. It just makes a stiff ride on the street. No problems at all with the BMR on the street.

like any drag suspension car will not be as nice on the street, would i personally daily drive my car with its current suspension..no. i have no idea how much the drag bar is contributing to the madness though because i did all my suspension at once.

its not hard to put on..just needs a decent bit of welding so needs to be done by someone that knows what they are doing.

it is adjustable on the end links,too if that wasn't mentioned..you can pre load your rear a bit and stuff.

you'll prolly be ok, i've been in cars that have most everything i have except for the drag bar and only a few real noticable differences
my car clunks and stuff from the back
often when i start moving from a stop the rear kinda jerks/shifts on me, will jerk the whole car to the left kinda when it happens
just a much stiffer ride out back, not super comfy like

i say go for it though, great piece.
