Default MWC K-member Takes a beating

And keeps on ticking.

This is hsesws6 vehicle that is fully equiped with MWC components front to rear. It has our full race front end which is K-member, A-arms upper and lower, and spindles, it took the abuse with out any issues.

Thanks to Magic Photos for the pictures & Cordova Dragway for the track rental.

Not as bad as it could of been that's for sure. No damage at all to the front end components but I think it shook the radiator pretty hard. We are in the process of fixing the radiator for him right now so he can go make some more test hits this weekend.

This is also using the Strange S-Trac.

Only real damage was the bottom two rows of fins on the radiator compressed, a few cracks in the oil pan, and a couple dings in the bottom header tubes. The entire steering, suspension, k-member, and bumper support(w/ fuel cell) was still in perfect condition.

This car will be on the track again this weekend, looking for some numbers now that the show is over!

As has been stated the only damage was to the oil pan, radiator and the drivers side header where two tubes were slightly dented. The SFI bellhousing has some scratches on it since it hangs down below the oil pan but sustained no real damage. The radiator support and oil pan took the brunt of the landing.

I don't have SYA bars or travel limiters on the car and the suspension was set at a starting point. I had been fighting other wiring and nitrous system issues so the car had not been leaving under full power. I finally got everything working and that was the result. Definitely going to make a few suspension adjustments and might ramp the power in a little bit slower.

I don't have any pictures of the underside but I can get them at some point.
