Default How much does rear hatch glass weigh?

Just as the title says, how much does just the hatch glass weigh on a 98 camaro z/28?

All I can say is Chef (super mod here on Tech) and I had to hold JL's formula hatch that went on the car a few years ago while he bolted it in. Let me tell you it sucked and I want to say as over all its a heavy piece of glass.

I weighed mine last year and it was 37lbs but the hatch weighed over 50 with the spoiler

f-ing heavy, put a lexan one in my hatch stays up with only 1 strut attached. I had to get 2 half blown out struts out of the junkyard so i could push it down

someone somewhere makes a "lightweight" glass for the hatch, and it's not lexan. Don't remember it its a vendor here.... but if i can find it again i'll post it.

I have handled both front and rear lexan pieces, they are as light as they say they are. Love that they incorperated the black stripe. Killer.
