Default What k-member and a-arms did you go with?

Im thinking of doing both these weight reduction mods, but I wanted to get some feedback on them so that I can decide on which manufacturer to go with. I know theres quite a few a-arms out there, but only a few k-members. Anyhow, please post which ones you went with and how they are coming along. Thank you.

All BMR stuff here..We did the K-Member , A-Arms , QA1 R shocks and springs in my driveway a few weeks ago and took 100 pounds off the nose of the car..Great fit , no problems at all installing everything and now have a ton more adjustment on the frontend..

I have the Pro Fab chromoly in mine. I still have the factory struts and springs but the K member and A arms took off right at 40 pounds. All went very good with the install and very pleased with the quality and fit.

Don't know how Tim got 110 pounds with just the addition of the QA1's but if they reduce the weight another 70 pounds then I got to get some of them too!

Those that went with the BMR a-arms, did you go with the adjustable spherical rod ends uppers or poly?

BMR K-member and A-arms with adjustable spherical rod ends here.

Was easy to install, easy to do alignments and drove really nice on the streets.

BMR K frame here, stock a arms..couldn't justify the money for the much more minimal weight savings with the a arms. K frame is totally worth it though. I have Qa1's all 4 corners as well.

I like the k frame alot, went right in, alignment was easily done by a tire place afterwards.

Factory A arms = 24#5oz; Pro Fab Chromoly A arms = 12# 2 oz. Is it worth it? If you are a true racer every pound counts.

How much et gain/weight savings with the QA1's? All four corners are way more money than the A arms.

Whoo, that's cheap! You saved over $100. I just went with the non-adjustable upper and lower BMR A-arms and the K-Member. PITA to install if you've never done anything like it before. Not too bad if you have though.

Did all you BMR guys reuse the factory upper balljoints? I did but both of them were slightly damaged and now they ooze greese. Did anyone get aftermarket ball joints? If so, where from and did you have any fitment issues? I'm asking because I'm going to be installing front Hal springs and shocks this week and it would be a good time to change them.

Thanks,

Derrick
