Default RCI trans blanket for TH400?

I seen Speed INC has a hell of a deal on a trans blanket. $89! it says universal so I assume it would fit my TH400. anyone have this one?

Also what is your opinions on having a blanket on a car that sees some street time? I have heard they hold the heat in big time. I may drive this car across town to car shows and stuff.

I saw these to its a great price I was wondering does it wrap right around the shift linkage and wouldn't that create a problem. I also heard they retain a lot of heat but there isn't much room for one of the composite shells.

I have one on my car... but I'm probably going to pull it b/c of the fact that I will be putting my car on the street some.

.

Before I switched to a dedenbear I ran one for years.
It definitely took a beating, and was starting to melt in several places.
I would say if you were smarter then I was, paid more attention, and even got some turn outs if needed,
it would be a great way to stay safe with a tight fit!!
