Default hooking 2 step up to brake switch question

I just purchased a LNC003 and installed it with the activation for the first 2 step on the brake pedal switch, second on the transbrake. I have the footbrake activation setup at 3000 rpms as thats the highest i can hold the motor on the brake, and it works great for building my boost and everything. Here is my question, when i am at the end of the track on deceleration and i hit the brakes at 5000-5500 rpm the 2 step will activate until the car slows to below 3000 RPM . What are the effects of this if any?

While not recommended, it shouldn't be a big deal using the rev limiter (2-step) as you decelerate. You might want to consider putting a switch (on/off) in-line between the wire from the brake switch to the 2-step. Switch the 2-step off after the run when applying the brakes. If you had (or have) a line-lock you could wire a push button switch to apply the 2-step and line-lock at the same time. Releasing the switch would release the brakes and deactivate the 2-step simultaneously for the launch. Since you probably can move your thumb from a switch on the steering wheel quicker than moving your foot off the brake pedal this could help with reaction times.

^pretty sure line lock + 2-step = big burnout at the line...transbrake is to hold the car while staged

OP, just run a switch to turn your 2-step on/off and switch it off after you break the beams

you could wire a microswitch in the circuit that closes when in 1st so the two step cannot activate once you shift

Well the more i think about it, then more i want to keep it without interruption and play with it using it for role races.
