Default New 1/8 Times!

Well I went to Angelton Dragway this sat and had a blast! Alot of cars to race!So this is how it went-
1.70 60ft 7.15 1/8 97.72
1.68 60ft 7.13 1/8 97.51
1.67 60ft 7.14 1/8 97.23
1.63 60ft 7.04 1/8 96.65
Race weight 3800lbs with me! Full everything!

The last was the best. I had one run and forgot the spray! My 60ft`s are killing me. Atleast with the new track and all. I know I need some shocks, and lose some weight. But I`m 226lbs myself and it`s not fat! And I don`t want to change my car. I drive it everyday. I`m wanting 6.99 really bad. I have good MPH on all my runs-would have thought to get a better time. What do you think? By the way this is with ET Streets at 14lbs psi.

Nice runs Beard! It was nice meeting ya too.

I think i blew up my motor in my Impala SS

That track was horrible. Take your car to HRP you will cut 1.4's trust me.

My best 60ft was a 1.70 and i went 7.2 @ 98 mph.

Again nice meeting ya.

Sorry to hear about your car mike. At least you got to get me before your motor went. Man I was pissed when I forgot to turn the spray on!!! I ran a good one the last run. Smoked it!! Ran a good 7.04 but if I can get a 1.5 or better 60ft I can hit some good 6.8-6.9 with a stock bottom-end! And a heavy 3800lb car!!!

Thanks BadBoy she does surprise a few people! At the track my car is quite compared to most of them and I smoked most!!! Gotta love it!

I'd say those times are decent for being on gas. As long as your happy thats all that counts.

Nice times.

Are you going to race in the big bracket race on Sunday? It is their 1st points race of the year.

Congrats on your times.
I don't see lower control arm relocation brackets in your sig. Do you have them? I added them after putting in the Eibach Pro kit and that hooked me up at the track, big time. I have no suspension parts except BMR rectangular subframe connectors and strut tower brace w/BMR relocation brackets set to the lowest holes and on the bottle i pull 1.5 60 ft's all day long w/E/T streets and about 20psi. All with a stock internal motor. (Using Nitrous) my best to date is 7.1 @92 w/1.54. Get your 60's down and you will drop way past your 6.99 goal(IMHO). Good luck

Looking good!

Figure 6.9's to 7.0's would get you into the 10's.

For the weight and the converter, the 1.63 60ft isn't bad. Was the car spinning?

WILWAXU your right. The stall I have hurts alittle off the line, Our cam X1 likes RPM`s. Also my race weight is alittle heavy but It`s truly a daily-driver. I`m going to lower my tires psi to about 12 on the ET`s and see what happens! By the way this is a new track so traction wasn`t the best. I was spinning off the line-tire psi isn`t right yet (14-16psi). This was just my second time ever to a track and I`ve got alot to learn. Power isn`t everything!!! I would love to get your 1.49 60ft`s. My times would drop big time

Redline how are you. Yes the car was running sweet! I feel 6.8-6.9 will come with better traction. Just my second time to the track so I`m learning. I will call you!
