Default hightack questions

so i am guessing that i will need to use some hightack on my rim to bead surfaces. i havent mounted the tires yet or had any runs to find out if i will make my 26x10.5 bias et street mounted to a 15x10 racestar wheel. my question is how can i apply the hightack and have them mounted by a shop. do i apply the gunk and take it to them or have the tires mounted to just take them home and bust the bead loose? i could cut a 1.67 60ft last year and run 11.75 with the mods and car in my signature. last year i was using a 16" camaro wheel with a 28x11.5 hoosier qtp on it. and i am not going to use tubes.

The stuff works, but theres a downside, dismounting the tires can be a bitch..... I have seen a rim get destroyed from trying to get the tire off because that stuff wouldn't let go. I would screw the tires and call it a day, or. Eadlock them

Not sure what high-tack your referring to, but I use the red spray gasket and we call it hi-tack.... it works great!! Go to the tire shop, spray each rim just before mounting, mount tire, clean bead good, then spray both beads, wait until that gets tacky then air them up!!! Don't do any burn-outs for about a day or so and you'll be good!! Larry.
