Default Which throttle cable and bracket to use on 4150 throttlebody?

Like the title says, which throttle cable and bracket to use on an edelbrock 4150 throttlebody? I did a search but could not really find anything specific. I seen a few people say an 80's model blazer, but I'm not sure if they are talking about the full size K5 blazer with a V8 or the S10 blazer with a V6? I'm also unsure of what bracket to use to hold the cable. Any help is greatly appreciated! It's the last thing I need to finish for the car to be completed.

Well I tried a cable off a 90 S10 4.3 TBI and that is way to long. I could really use some help on this to finish up my car.

Yeah I did that as well but it kept pulling the sheathing around the cable through and causing it not to go WOT.

I just bought one off of here. I have not in stall it yet.
But the guy said it's from a Blazer. I think I remember everyone said a '86 s-10 Blazer
is what you want. The cable I have measures 34" end to end of the cables. And 25" from the firewall plug to the tb bracket plug.
I have a thread on here about the brackets, I like the AED 6600 also. The CSR bracket does not have the return springs.

Thanks man. Yeah thats way to long for me. I just bought a universal cable and cut it to length. It came out to 23" and some change from tip to tip. 24" would have been best but I cut it a little to short like a dummy. Yeah I seen your thread and like your bracket. Thanks again for the help.

Yeah I went and got the Spector cable from AutoZone also and a cheap universal bracket from a local speed sho. All the brackets I have tried hit the cowl, so I'm going to cut the lower part of the cowl out more to have room for the bracket.

Just cut the cowl to the windshield. If your not going to use your wipers, cut the cowl all the way across, also.
What's what I did.
What hood are you going to use?

I dont have my wipers on any more but I dont want to cut all the way to the windshield because I want to keep the plastics on the cowl. I dont have an extended hood so there would be a gap and look funny if there was no plastic cowl pieces there. I have a regular VFN Sunoco hood. I did cut it back but to where I could still put the wipers back on and the plastics.

Ok thanks, I tried to get one from the parts store but they didnt have any so I just purchased the universal cable they had. If the universal dont work out I will get one from a 3rd gen. Do you know which cable it is though, the tuned port one or the TB one?
